Nature Whisperer

Already had this shooting concept in mind for quite sometime. Only when Ah Fen came back from Taiwan for Chinese New Year triggered me to make it happened. I quickly gathered Ah Ling, one of my favourite shooting human objects, which is also Ah Fen's buddy and made this shooting in Botanical Garden. It's about the connection between human and the nature. Sometimes we need to listen carefully as the nature might be talking to us, whispering in our ears...





I am now connecting with the nature, hear it whispering.

《牛转乾坤》36小时记录摄影 Part 2

年初一早上醒来收到两个大红包，爸妈你们最棒！！

每年新年大家都很期待，阿妈煮的罗汉斋。我要再吃三十年！！今年妈心血来潮，多了一道素炸鸡，但是无人问津......呵呵！

出门后先做的就是去祭拜祖先。

祠堂里有两个古董书橱，放了很多很旧的书。从我懂事到现在书的位子好像没有变过。

祖先祖先，我们每一年过时过节都来祭拜，要保佑我们健健康康顺顺利利财源滚滚来啊！嘻嘻！

顺道去其中一个亲戚家拜年，在综艺节目前发呆......

塞车加炎热的天气，大伙儿都快快回家。我就躲在房里写部落格，过后就处理前几天拍的人像照。晚一些就会出去找女朋友也！

《牛转乾坤》36小时记录摄影 Part 1

农历新年，讲中文啦！决定参与这一个记录摄影活动，把年除夕中午十二点一直到年初一晚上十二点的点滴纪录下来。

帮小银洗白白，结果前面车牌不小心被自己弄断，花了一个小时上山下海，终于弄到一个新的。

带了年年必备的礼物，去女朋友家吃团年饭去！

今年有一道“特别”的菜，紫菜汤。

年年都有的年菜，健康又好吃！

每个人都“抢”着吃的鱿鱼炒，需要很多准备功夫却一下子就被吃完。

超级惹味下饭的咖喱鸡！

还没切的烧肉。为了吃它，我的手指除夕见红......鸿运当头吖！！

吃饱爽爽玩PSP，一玩就到六点多。是时候回家吃第二轮的团年饭。

回到家看到满地别人送的礼物......发啦！发啦！

老爸开了一支珍藏的 Tawny Port 来下饭......20% 酒精含量！家里除了妈以外的两个女人喝到很 high，讲话大大声。

不能缺少的年菜之一，我喜欢吃咧！

也是 broccoli，煮法不一样罢了。其它的年菜因为太专注于吃它们而忘了拍照......哈哈！

吃饱拍拍照，家里望出去年除夕的夜景。

也是夜景，不同角度咯！

吃饱后送女朋友回家，回来躲在房里弄照片上网。半途出去伸伸懒腰，看见了煎堆。很想塞两三粒进肚子，但是已经接近十二点......明天吃！

Connect To The Nature

I don't know how to explain this but my soul asked me to get connected with the nature. Seems like I had "disconnected" from the green and ocean for a long long time. So this morning, accompanied by Doris with a small digital camera, we had a two hours walk at Botanical Garden. The singing birds and insects, the cooling breeze and the fresh air made us feel so relax and comfortable.

Most of the time, we human tend to forget that we are also part of the nature. We take and we destroy of what' s sharing the nature with us. Many of the flora and fauna are in the danger of extinction because of us.

Every two seconds the jungle is disappearing with the size of a football field! The melting glacier
of the North Pole, the global warming crisis; All these are due to the "needs" of our human, and our selfishness.


Have we forget that without the trees and the animals in the ecology system, one day we will also disappear from the surface of the earth?





There is always a balance in between two extreme ends. Light and darkness, good and evil, life and death. That's why there are always day and night, new born baby and dying old human.






Learn to appreciate, learn how to communicate with the nature and let the nature speak to us, to our heart and to our soul. Through these cleansing, the true nature of balance will be revealed and the world will be a better place for everyone, and everything.

Elephant In The Room

As promised, the photos for the contemporary dance performance held in KLPAC last week. The meaning of the title? I think you better ask the choreographers as I don't have a clue of it. Well, to whom who loves contemporary dance, that's the beauty of it right?










Although I was concentrating taking photos during that time, I still feel that I like the performance. If you ask me my understanding of the performance? I would say...it was about desperation, depression and lonely...quite negative huh? The rest of the photos are in this room.
